( 11 ) The provisions of Part Four of the Treaty no longer apply to this territory, which  became independent on 31 December 1983.

( 12 ) The associated States, as a constitutional group, no longer exist. All the component  territories have become independent,except Anguilla, to which the provisions of Part Four  of the Treaty continue to apply.

( 13 ) The dependencies of the Falkland Islands changed their names to South Georgia and  the South Sandwich Islands on 3 October 1985 on ceasing to be dependencies of the  Falkland Islands.
