Vaccinations

The routine vaccination system carried out in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip including.

1. Vaccinations for infants:
   
   
1. Vaccination against Hepatitis B:
   
   
1. To an infant born in a hospital or in a maternity home: at the ages of 0, 1, 6, months.
   
   
2. To an infant born at home: at the ages of 1, 2, 6 months.
   
   
2. Triple vaccination against Diptheria, Pertussis and Tetanus ( DPT ):
   
   

Given at the ages of 2, 4, 6, 12 months.

3. Vaccination against Poliomyelitis ( Polio ):
   
   

• Sabin vaccine ( OPV ) given at the ages of 4, 6, 12 months.
  
  
• Salk vaccine ( IPV ) given at the ages of 2, 4, 12 months.
